Ginger Spiced Limeade

When you’ve had an upset stomach, has anyone ever recommended you eat ginger or drink ginger ale? There’s a reason for that. Ginger has been used for thousands of years to treat many ailments associated with inflammation, including gastrointestinal problems like stomach aches.

In this day and age, however, we know soda isn’t good for you. Instead, I highly suggest you make my refreshing ginger spiced limeade. Not only is it a delicious treat, but it can also help calm your gut.

Bonus, it also has turmeric as an ingredient! Turmeric is another powerhouse spice that has anti-inflammatory properties. Combined with ginger, you’ll find my spiced limeade can also help relieve symptoms associated with migraines, arthritis, and achy joints.

The recipe calls for honey, but you can substitute with a few drops of stevia to taste.

I recommend you drink it fresh, but if you want to make a pitcher to share or drink throughout the day, double or triple the recipe.
